Gold Coast IPSC Grandslam Sunday 9th March 2008

In late 2007 some Gold Coast IPSC diehards were talking about planning matches for 2008. We thought it a good idea to hold a one day "Grandslam" match in March two weeks before the Nationals which were being held over Easter. There were two reasons mainly, first and foremost was that it would be really good practice and secondly we thought we would get a good number of competitors attending making all the effort of setting up a match worthwhile. Well we were right on both counts. David S as usual designed a challenging match and we had the biggest competitor numbers for any one day Grandslam we have organised, with 58 turning up.

14th May 2005 - Arafura Games 2005

The Arafura Games and Northern Territory State Titles held in Darwin from 14th to 16th May, 2005 were a truly spectacular event. Errol, Kerri, Alain and I braved the "red eye" flight to Darwin arriving at 1.30 a.m. on Friday morning extremely sleep deprived.
