The first ET gun that I more or less picked up, which I think was the second one Andy built  that was his own. I can remember at the SA Nationals they have a big  hole in the ground where the ranges are, and I could pick up the ET gun and just site it at a target that was approximately 80m away and I could hold the gun on the target at that distance. I picked my own gun which was a short dust cover and the gun would move off the target. When I got to shoot one for the first time the gun did half the work returning to the point of aim just sat beautifully.

I started shooting IPSC in 1984, shooting my first Australian Championships in 1985 and have only missed 3 matches since. I have shot many different pistols in this time; however since using my first SVI open gun in 1996 I haven't used anything else.
